Hello, I am Alessandra Cayley, a Brazilian journalist based in Toronto. My journalism journey began as a producer for a daily broadcast, covering politics and the economy in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since immigrating to Canada in 2003, I have been writing about Toronto and major Canadian cities for the Brazilian audience. Along the way, I had the privilege of covering high-profile events like the Dalai Lama's visit to Toronto and the 2010 G20 Toronto Summit. During this time, I had the opportunity to attend and report on press conferences, including a notable one held by former President Barack Obama.
